Welcome to AZ Dental Pros! We exist to push the dental profession forward. We provide opportunities for Hygienist AND Dentist to receive didactic instruction and study material, hands-on training, and education that allows dentist and hygienist to perform reversible subdermal injectable procedure in a safe manner. We enable and encourage hygienist and dentist to be able to work to their full, legal scope of practice as laid out in the AZ Dental Practice Act.* Our goal is to equip AZ dental professionals with the knowledge and training needed to be ethical, informed, practiced injectors ready to embark on their journey of alleviating the pain and trauma patients face with overactive facial muscles as well as providing options for their patients facial aesthetic goals to complement their healthy smile! AZ Dental Pros contends that Dentist and Hygienist - with our extensive knowledge in head and neck anatomy, experience with syringe in hand, education in pharmacology, vast experience with patient communication and uncovering expectations, attention to detail and artistry, as well as foundation of life-long learning and continuing education- are perfectly positioned with a ready foundation to build on to become skilled and talented subdermal therapeutic and aesthetic injectors. We don’t strive for ‘good enough’ we strive for excellence! We keep costs low by training in existing dental offices, keeping everything Arizona dental professionals focused and not doing paid advertising. We also utilize experienced master level trainers to instruct hands-on with imbedded didactic. We pride ourselves on providing consistent, robust, science-based, cited, research-based curriculum that is provided to trainees for study ahead of class time. We ensure that each trainee has met the course objectives by the completion of the class and prior to receiving their certificate. *We also discourage all dentists and hygienists from using injectables outside of their scope of practices as well as performing procedures in which they have not undertaken training!

  • Full-day (minimum 7 hours) of Hands-on learning and injecting with live models present the entire time.

  • Yeah, 9 procedures…This is tailored for the dental professional. Some typical Level 2 procedures are included in this class because they are 100% in our wheel house! We need them now!

  • ≤1:5 trainer : trainee ratio. Usually 1:3 ratio is achieved.
  • No limit to injectable quantity for practice. As of this writing, our current average per trainee practice includes: injecting 62 Botox units of neurotoxins and 1.5 syringes of 2 different types of dermal filler over ≥5 different patients per class. WE OFFER AN STRATEGICALLY PLANNED and ROBUST HANDS-ON PROGRAM. We far exceed the minimum needed to be considered ‘trained’ in a procedure. We strive for competency and confidence!

  • Areas of injections taught in this DENTAL PRO TAILORED foundational Neurotoxin AND dermal filler training:
  • Botulinum neurotoxin injections of the treatment of the forehead, glabella, crows feet, eyebrow lift, gummy smile, and treatment of bruxism through masseter muscle injections. Other areas will be taught at the trainers discretion.
  • Hyaluronic acid dermal filler injections of the cheeks/midface, lips, Marrionette and smile lines. Other areas will be taught at the trainers discretion.

What else makes us Different:
  • We ONLY train dental professionals and everyone in your training cohort will hold DMD, DDS, or RDH credential. This allows us to focus our classes solely on the needs of the dental professional and tailor training to the situational and relational dynamics that dental providers face daily as well as educate regarding the regulations of Dental Injectors. It also creates an environment of collaboration where all trainees can relate to each other.

  • Inclusion of procedures not typically included in a foundational classes, but we deem essential to being an Az Dental Pro injector. (Masseter, gummy smile, added to normal foundational procedures with eye brow lift also added)
  • Even the didactic training and learning is very interactive. NO sitting down for a power point monologue lectures or being read to. #wearesmart Instead hands-on day is 100% interactive; Ask questions, reconstitute toxins, map out faces while being instructed, draw up units, hold syringes, and watch live injections WHILE learning the didactics.
  • You ARE NOT limited in your injection practice based on the model you provide. EVERY trainee will practice injecting EVERY procedure being taught, many ties several times over. This is so important to get the feel of the product and get the feel of the different skin and muscles being injected into as well as product selection, placement, technique, and aspiration time for each area.
  • Trainees are NOT responsible for the cost of the injectable products. (unless they select to be a model themselves) and aren’t limited in the quantity of product they will train on injecting.
  • No greater than 1:5 trainer: trainee ratio. Usually 1:3 ratio is achieved. Low trainer to trainee ratio with the advantage of learning with and from others in your cohort and experiencing multiple models, all while having every question answered and having continuous instruction and guidance during injections. Classes are limited to 10. Added advantage of learning from multiple instructors and trainers.
  • After-training support by staying connected to your cohort and joining in with other local AZ dental pros and continued access to instructors.
